"Let's take care of the rivers"

*DID YOU KNOW THAT?:* Contaminated water is the leading cause of death in children under 5 years of age (90% due to death from diarrhoea). *DID YOU KNOW THAT?:* About 4 million people die each year from water-related diseases, with 98% of deaths in underdeveloped countries. *HOW WATER POLLUTION WOULD AFFECT LIFE IN 5 YEARS?* •Chemical balance has been affected in five years since the seas, which cover 71% of our blue planet, currently absorb so much CO2 generated by human activities and so much energy from the Sun that the chemistry and temperatures of marine waters are putting many organisms at risk. •The population is at risk for five years since sea-level climbs are changing the coasts and undermining buildings, which poses a risk to human life. •The ravages of the drought will be affected in five years as a result of the fact that at first that water will fill the rivers and river basins, but as there is less ice, the runoff water and the fresh water available will also be diminished. If conservation measures do not address the problem, the threat of water restrictions will arise. *CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES:* -If we use chemical products in agriculture and the water becomes contaminated, this water will hardly be treated for human consumption. -If we cut down tres, the rivers will run dry. -If we drink dirty water, we will get sick. -If we get sick for drinking dirty water, we will die. *POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:* -Reduce excessive water consumption. -Take care of the water.
