Joe Harvey: Newcastle's Greatest Ever Servant - An Everything is Black and White Podcast Documentary
Welcome to the latest documentary brought to you by The Everything is Black and White Podcast.
Joe: Newcastle's Greatest Ever Servant, takes us through the life and career of former captain and manager of the club Joe Harvey.
Harvey won two FA Cups with Newcastle as a player as part of the famous 1950s side, before joining the coaching staff and watching from the touchline as United lifted a third FA Cup in five years with a victory in the 1955 Final.
Joe was destined for management and went into the lower leagues to learn his trade before being appointed as Toon boss in 1961.
He would take the club into the top flight and go on to win the Fairs Cup in 1969.
In this documentary, Andrew Musgrove speaks to those who knew Harvey best including, Bob Moncur, Supermac, Frank Clark, and Harvey's son, Ken.
The journey takes us through Harvey's playing and management career - and provides an insight into his techniques.

Don’t Worry About The Haters
Really enjoy this podcast and reading the chronicle online. My advice is don’t take note of the people who are quick to give constant negative comments yet have no idea how journalism works - and don’t feel like you have to justify what you do and why you do it. The podcasts and content are great, and I listen to them all the way in New Zealand. Keep up the great work!
Consistently updating news on all things Newcastle. Would prefer more in depth journalism on what is / has actually been going on at the club.
