Overall a decent flick.  It was refreshing to see Chris Evans in something other than the MCU, and reminded us that even without the shield he's a great actor.  The film was a good blend of drama, comedy, and suspense, though at times it felt as though they pushed harder on drama than necessary resulting in some heavy eye rolls.  Based on incredible true events, the film has some power but definitely doesn't do the story justice in the way it was told.  The cast was good and the characters are lovable, but we could have used a bit more building in the first act for sure.  If Steven Spielberg had been behind it, we're positive this thing would have received an A+.

Horror movies are tough to judge sometimes, but this one very clearly has issues.  The story is unique, the gore scenes were decent, hell even some of the acting wasn't all bad.  Overall though, this one is NOT a recommend from us.  Too much of the story was spent focused on uninteresting things, the movie as a whole somehow drags on despite the modest 90 minute runtime, and when the credits roll an overwhelming feeling of "what the hell was that?"

Ironically The Waldo Moment serves a stepping stone between episodes, much like the supporting character to her political opponents.  Waldo is a great lesson on giving television characters too much power, and how our gullibility frequently gets us into trouble politically.  We end up riffing on favorite Nickelodeon shows as this episode of Black Mirror doesn't offer up much to talk about.  Long story short, Summer Sanders, we miss you.

Quentin Tarantino's 9th film is FINALLY HERE!  We had some mixed opinions on the show about Tarantino's latest film, but overall had a blast talking about it.  Despite varying letter grades, we all marveled at the film's uniqueness, the INCREDIBLE performances, and overall Tarantino vibe.  
Jeremy came out hot with an A+, Max with a B, Cass with a B+ and Michael with a flat C.

Season 2 rolls on with this morbid tale exploring the age old question...does the punishment fit the crime?  It ranked pretty highly with us especially having not seen it for a while.  We try to stay in the present moment, but the truth is every episode we do means we're getting closer to White Christmas which is going to be A BLOW OUT!
