Dr Becky

I’ve been following Dr Becky on Ig for a while, one of her posts (dfk) resonated with me more than the others. I booked into her workshop and have been obsessed ever since. I have only good things to say. So many ideas and so much understanding of my kid’s behaviours. Thank you Dr Becky 😊

Favourite out of many voices

My husbands full time job for the last 6 months has been to do parenting courses and read parenting books and I can honestly say that if I could only recommend 1 parenting voice to someone, it would be Dr Becky. I’m loosing count of the times (here or on Instagram) where she’s said exactly what I needed to hear in my own re-parenting journey, or given me the tools I've needed to navigate a tricky situation with my kids. And I really love that it’s both, because parenting really is so much more than just managing a child’s behaviour, it’s also about managing your own triggers and reactions and healing your own wounds. The empathy Dr Becky gives never leaves me feeling like I’m a bad parent, which helps so much with the shame you can experience when learning to handle things differently, than you’ve typically done in the past. I always feel empowered and understood. Thanks so much Dr Becky, our family will be forever happier and healthier!

Thanks Dr Becky for all your incredible tools you generously share with this community. I love these podcasts as you manage to get the root of the cause behind the behaviors and give great practical tools and strategies to work with. Keep doing what you do! Much love and gratitude from Maddy in New Zealand. Xx
