Performance minded with a dose of realism!
Joe alway has great insight to extracting the best performance out of the human body, but always tempers it to stay relevant to the general population. Joe gives the best way to achieve something, then gives regressions or adaptations that may be better/doable for the general population and ‘washed up meatheads’. Keep doing what you do Joe! Nick
With a background in Sport and exercise science and physiotherapy i am always on the look out for a new resources for added learning. I have been a long term fan of Joe, and this podcast has provided a lot of content than i can draw upon to continue to make strength gains and improve my performance on the rugby field. The more recent podcast with Jill Miller resulted in the purchase of her book the Roll Model which is a book i couldn’t put down and now keep with me as an invaluable resource. next step is the transition away from the lacrosse ball (previously inspired from Joes Agile 8 - The best resource to date for lower back issues) to the tune up range, Keep doing what your doing its being loved from the UK.
I have been following Joe for a while on the internet and followed him more closely once he started working with TripleH. I was looking for ways that I could gain instant access to his thinking and training methods and came across this podcast.I will be the first to admit that Podcasts were not my thing bt after exhausting my music player I needed something to amp me up and keep me interested during my 4am workout sessions. These podcasts are amazing. Joe always endevours to make sure that he has great guests and there is always a ton of information available on them. These podcasts are not just great for gym rats like me but for people of all ages and sizes wanting to better themsleves. Lets face it Joe has become a pioneer in this industry and having these podacsts gives more and more people access to the wealth of information he has. Not to mention he is a funny bastrad as well. I now cant wait till Friday morning ( thats when the weekly podcast can be downloaded in New Zealand) as i know I will be entertained as well as informed with udp to date training and nutritional information. I dont easily give out five stars but this man and this podcast are worth it.Keep up the great work.
