ELLIOTT FULLAM interview / Terrifier 2 / Terrifier 3 / Art the Clown / Music and Horror

Jeremy joins Rob today for another great interview.
You may know Elliott Fullam from the movie TERRIFIER 2 (one of mine and Jeremy's favorite movies) where he played one of the main characters "Jonathan" but he is also an accomplished songwriter and  has released 3 albums in the last couple of years.
Jeremy and I had a great time talking MUSIC and HORROR in this cross-over interview (which will also be featured on Jeremy's podcast platform THE HORROR CON LOUNGE!
We talked about some of his songs, touring, metallica, Elliot's favorite Horror move and of course terrifier 2 & 3 (he couldn't tell us much about 3 since it's not out yet.. but I do have a theory) ... and more!
Elliott was fun to talk to and he's a very enthusiast 19 year old ... just loving life right now!
Besides music and acting Elliott has also done many interviews starting at the age of 9!
His Little Punk People interviews have been going for 10 years now and the response has been incredible. Some of the people he’s interviewed are ICE-T, James Hetfield (METALLICA), Norman Reedus and Tom Payne from THE WALKING DEAD, the band GHOST, Gaten Matarazzo from STRANGER THINGS, Drea De Matteo (The Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Shades of Blue), Jay Mewes, Malcolm McDowell, Scott Ian of ANTHRAX, Mads Mikkelsen of HANNIBAL & STAR WARS, Tom Araya from SLAYER and many more.
He has already been featured in major websites including Dangerous Minds, Gawker, Metal Injection, Blabbermouth, Revolver, Metal Hammer, Stereogum, Consequence of Sound, NME, Bloody Disgusting, Exclaim! and many others including overseas websites to give him international coverage.
Check out his interviews on YouTube (search "little punk people")
Elliott will go on tour this summer sharing his music with everyone.

IMOGEN CLARK Interview - Australian / Nashville Singer Songwriter

IMOGEN CLARK Interview - Australian / Nashville Singer Songwriter

New PODCAST RELEASE - INTERVIEW with Australian Singer / Songwriter (and now resident of Nashville) IMOGEN CLARK!
Rob and Matt had a great fun conversation with the greatly talented Imogen Clark.   We had a ton of laughs (which is always a good thing).
Besides bringing up Springsteen, Colin Hay, Sheena Easton and Sheryl Crow we talk about her big move to Nashville, the inspiration behind her newest video for THE NOISE, the time she played a mining town of only men, writing and recording with Colin Hay (Men at Work) and much much more!
********JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IMOGEN CLARK:
From an early age, Imogen's life was steeped in music. From just eight years old, she was trained as an opera singer, the foundation for her roof-raising vocal power and range. By the age of twelve, she had transitioned to the guitar and piano and the start of her songwriting journey.
Raised on a cocktail of Bruce Springsteen and Violent Femmes, her musical palette expanded with influences from contemporary artists like HAIM, Maggie Rogers, and the indomitable Taylor Swift. Her father, a former punk rocker and now retired high school teacher, also played a pivotal role in shaping her musical inclinations. His influence, combined with her own experiences, gave birth to a unique and timeless sound, blending pop-rock and indie-pop. Imogen’s determination is evidenced by her achievements of the last three years, especially her two acclaimed EPs, 2020’s "The Making of Me" and the AIR-nominated 2021’s "Bastards".
After recording “Bastards” over Zoom amidst the COVID lockdowns in Sydney, Imogen was determined to flip the script completely for her album. After writing over a hundred songs, she embarked on a musical pilgrimage, traveling to cities that have inspired her musically - London, Nashville, and Los Angeles. This journey took her to some of the world’s most iconic recording spaces including Peter Frampton’s Studio Phenix in Nashville, Abbey Road in London, and East West in Los Angeles, where the legendary "Pet Sounds" was recorded.
The forthcoming album “The Art of Getting Through” is proudly genre-agnostic, encapsulating Imogen’s range as a songwriter and recording artist. The lyrics are her most bracingly personal and vulnerable, the music more powerful and anthemic than ever. From navigating her identity to touching on the shadows of an eating disorder, each of Imogen's songs unfold like a chapter in a deeply personal diary, capturing moments, memories, and confessions from her journey.
It’s no wonder collaborators from Alex Lahey to Colin Hay to Steve Poltz to members of Gang of Youths, Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers, Elvis Costello’s Imposters, Dawes, My Morning Jacket and more have lined up to collaborate with an artist whose dynamism, relentless creativity and striving to be the most fully evolved version of herself, both in and out of the studio, shows her as a force to be reckoned with, and one who is just getting started.

Be sure to look for her upcoming 3rd studio album "The Art of Getting Through" on May 31st, 2024!

STEVE HACKETT Interview - Legendary PROGRESSIVE ROCK Guitarist for GENESIS and GTR

STEVE HACKETT Interview - Legendary PROGRESSIVE ROCK Guitarist for GENESIS and GTR

Matt and Rob sit down with the legendary progressive rock guitarist, Steve Hackett formerly of GENESIS and GTR
Steve talks about his current tour (recently winding down) called FOXTROT AT FIFTY, what the term progressive means, what John Lennon said about Genesis, his incredible new album "The Circus and the Nightwhale" and more.
We had 30 minutes to talk to Steve which in itself is incredible since he was in the middle of a tour of the US.
********JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT STEVE HACKETT:
Steve Hackett is renowned as an immensely talented and innovative rock musician. He was lead guitarist with Genesis as part of their classic line up with Gabriel, Collins, Banks and Rutherford, that produced acclaimed albums such as Selling England by the Pound (a favourite of John Lennon). With Steve's extraordinary versatility in both his electric guitar playing and his composing, he involves influences from many genres, including Jazz, World Music and Blues. He is equally adept in his classical albums that include renditions of pieces by composers from Bach to Satie, his own acoustic guitar compositions that have gained the admiration of many, including Yehudi Menuhin, and ambitious guitar/ orchestra albums such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic.

With Genesis, Steve's guitar playing produced some of the most memorable moments, from the sensitivity of his acoustic sound on Horizons and Blood on the Rooftops to the dramatic rock guitar solos of Firth of Fifth and Fountain of Salmacis. As he embarked on his solo career he developed his exceptional range, pushing musical boundaries into exciting areas, inventing new sounds and also techniques such as 'tapping'. His solo career went from strength to strength and the mid eighties not only saw the hit single Cell 151, but also the Steve Hackett and Steve Howe super group GTR, highly successful in America.
