Episode #36: Belanie Dishong on Creation Statements

Episode #36: Belanie Dishong on Creation Statements

Belanie Dishong of LiveatChoice.com is my guest this week. We recorded our conversation about Creation Statements as a spontaneous live session that I invited my community to join in on at the last minute during the holidays and how fun that we actually had a dozen awesome gals join us!
Belanie honored my request for a kickass discount but please note it is only available for 24 hours following our session so the special price mentioned may no longer be accessible. The Beyond Circumstances course is a huge value at any price, so DO go get your copy!
And if you'd like, get a copy of the Creation Statement Journal here.

Episode #35: Marie-Claire Ashcroft Believes In Unicorns

Episode #35: Marie-Claire Ashcroft Believes In Unicorns

My conversation with Marie-Claire Ashcroft turned into the most amazing session about being real in your content. It isn't every day I meet someone who is this willing to be vulnerable. I loved talking with her about how she is creating content that matters.
Listen and feel inspired to chuck all the nonsense to the curb and just share yourself with others!
    What Marie-Claire says about herself:
I have a background in low self esteem and I spent my life doing what other people expected me to until I was lost and depressed. I picked up a camera. And well, the journey since then has been quite an epic one – not smooth in any sense, but definitely well worth it. I used a camera to overcome my confidence issues. I used photography to find out who I was. I used my creativity to explore emotions and heal childhood trauma. I created a business where I get to be myself. And by being myself, I’ve met people who have felt exactly the same way I did growing up, and I get to help them feel better about themselves too.
I think my favourite topic is helping people realise how awesome they are. If we can help people feel good – about life, about themselves, about who they are – they can send ripples of awesomeness and joy out into the world and make it a better place for everyone. But if any other part of my application is of interest, then happy to chat about that!

Episode #34: The Content & Community Guarantee

Episode #34: The Content & Community Guarantee

This successful business I am blessed to operate has been built on the twin foundations of Content and Community. My experiences in building a community around content, for myself and with clients, gives me confidence to offer you a rock solid guarantee.
You cannot spend time with your people and not end up creating inspired content. The reverse is also true. You cannot create inspired content and not end up spending time with your people.
Well, let me hold on there and offer up a stopper… you could create amazing content and if you never share it – it could be darned hard for your people to find you.
Let's talk about that on this episode
It's been amazing this past six weeks or so, instead of upper limiting I've breathed through and leaned into my willingness to grow. It's feels great to not be sabotaging!  I'm going to share some of this with you as well.

Episode #33: When What You Do Makes You Feel High

Episode #33: When What You Do Makes You Feel High

Operating in my Zone of Genius is starting to become physically recognizable. I feel ‘high' when I'm in my jam. Not that I know a lot about actually feeling high or anything – but I tell ya, I know this feels amazing.
Running challenges, creating community, inviting people to stretch and grow… this is my Zone of Genius.
In this episode I'm sharing what I've seen and experienced so far in the 2019 Stretch Yourself Challenge. With one week left, I promise to come back with another final update – definitely planning to feature some of my challengers and their amazing results.
The Challenge is held every September so plan to join us next year and note, the guide is always available as a self study.
If you're not familiar with the idea of operating in the Zone of Genius, I recommend reading The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks, and his follow up The Joy of Genius.

Episode #32: Jillian Leslie Wants Your Following To Grow

Episode #32: Jillian Leslie Wants Your Following To Grow

My guest on this show is Jillian Leslie, co-creator of Milo Tree, super easy software that helps you grow your social following by giving your website visitors a quick action to take.
It all started with a need they felt for their own site. Jillian founded Catch My Party in 2009, with her husband, and have since grown it into the largest party ideas site on the web.  When they saw how important social media was to growing the business (especially Pinterest) they built a pop-up to grow social media followers. It worked so well (they have grown a Pinterest following to over 1.2 million and Instagram to over 164k followers with our pop-up), they launched it as a separate business.
Jillian started her podcast, The Blogger Genius, in 2018, to help fellow entrepreneurs build businesses. She interview successful bloggers, online entrepreneurs and industry experts on my show. I was blessed to be one of her guests recently!
