    S01E01: The Beat Goes On

    S01E01: The Beat Goes On

FINALLY, Parasitecology has arrived!  In this episode, our protagonist Javier awakens to a new reality and meets his future best friend, Cher Gandhi Statham under -- let's say, grave -- circumstances.  Memories get explored, various nodules and capillaries get squeezed.  It's like a therapy and yearly health checkup all in one!
Parasitecology is a darkly comic SF audiodrama about a suicidal nerd and his alien parasite best friend, which kind of spoils the episode to be honest, but -- come on, everybody knows the first episode is like the sweaty effort I put into the elliptical bike in my basement: all setup.
Please note: While Parasitecology is a comedy, it incorporates the serious and, for us, highly personal topic of mental health, including dealing with anxiety, depression and suicide. If you or a loved one is at risk of self-harm, please: get help and call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.
Parasitecology was created by Alan Gallauresi and Rob Trevino, who also created Interrupted Tales, a weekly podcast where one of them reads a vintage or pulp story while the other person constantly interrupts.

    S01E00: Parasitecology Teaser

Season One of Parasitecology is nearly upon us!  It's been a long road getting from there (not having a darkly comic SF audiodrama podcast about a suicidal nerd and his alien parasite best friend) to here (a metaphysical state where we, indisputably, have a darkly comic SF audiodrama podcast about a suicidal nerd and his alien parasite best friend).  Where is Bryan Adams when you need him?  The answer is, of course, Canada.

    S01E02: Alive Again

EPISODE #2 of Parasitecology!  Cher makes Javier an offer and we learn the difference between those who bought Bitcoins early and those who bought Dogecoins late.  Reminiscing about the Matrix.  Plus our first ad!  Yeah, we were surprised too, but I think you're going to love the product!

    S01E03: I Found Someone

EPISODE #3 of Parasitecology! Cher and Javier venture out into the world for food and other essentials! Once they figure out the minor details of getting dressed, smiling, and deciding what goes down easier on an empty stomach, toothpaste or mouthwash, that is.
Parasitecology is a darkly comic SF audiodrama about a suicidal nerd and his alien parasite best friend, which you probably know because this is episode 3 and it would be really weird for you to start here, but, hey: We don't know you. So keep being cool and shine on, you crazy diamond.

S01E04: I Hate to Sleep Alone

S01E04: I Hate to Sleep Alone

EPISODE #4 of Parasitecology! Returning home with far too much food and pine needles, Cher shares with Javier details of his home world and biology as they fire up the FryDaddy. Plus, is this the episode Javier sees real proof of Cher's journey (and existence)?! It just might be. Bonds are made, histories are shared, and- wait. What's that ominous buzzing noise I hear?
Parasitecology is a darkly comic SF audiodrama about a suicidal nerd and his alien parasite best friend. Each episode is also titled after something from Cher's musical catalogue. Why? Because it's Cher, duh.

S01E05: I Feel Something in the Air

EPISODE #5 of Parasitecology! Bonding continues as Cher and Javier go on a hormonal spin around town so Cher can get a feel for its new ride. Plus: ice cream! And what evil lurks beyond the (quite possible) evil of an impending work outing?
