Customer Reviews
Phoebe reads a mystery is a constant source of delight.
Who knew that old books could be so enjoyable, and engaging read by the inimitable Phoebe Judge.
Who knew?
Even though I hated Eng Lit at school (probably due to an innate zeitgeist bent), Phoebe’s weird enunciation (to my ears) is making me finally appreciate the classics I’ve despised for decades. I still hope she never attempts Dickens or Shakespeare though because they are actually boring, verbose twats.
Very enjoyable
Phoebe has a very pleasant reading voice and I am enjoying this opportunity to catch up on classic detective stories. My only criticism is that her pronunciation of some of the older English words is a bit off sometimes eg blackguard, pince-nez etc but this happens to the best of us
