Binge watching narcissists Daniel and Leliana are out, proud, and have a LOT of childhood trauma to work through. So, of course, they started a podcast! On Rainbow Rewatch, they review TV shows and movies from the 90s and 2000s and analyze their gay moments, all on their quest to figure out just how exactly they became so, so queer. Join them every week as they rank and objectify male characters, discuss iconic female figures, and reminisce about life growing up as queer Gen-Zers in a world before streaming services, iPhones, and puberty.

Spongebob Squarepants
On this episode of Rainbow Rewatch, Daniel and Leliana deconstruct one of the most influential TV shows of the 21st century (and maybe all time), Spongebob Squarepants. Specifically, they cover Season 2 Episode 6 "Squidville" and Season 2 Episode 15 "Band Geeks." After breaking down some fun facts about this ridiculous show, the dolls get into Spongebob's "coming out" in 2020 and the possible sexualities of all of the characters. Then, they discuss the physics of Bikini Bottom and try to figure out how the hell any of it makes sense. And they ask the chilling question: if 80% of our ocean is unexplored, is it possible that Bikini Bottom REALLY exists?

She's the Man
This week on Rainbow Rewatch we're doing a super nostalgic movie and one that HAD to be covered, the elite 2006 film She's the Man starring the one, the only, the chameleon herself, Ms. Amanda Bynes. This film has EVERYTHING--women in drag, gay hairdressers, pseudo-lesbianism, Channing Tatum, kissing booths....what an absolute whirlwind. Daniel and Leliana break down the movie's themes and a possible trans reading of the film, and discuss Amanda Bynes' gender dysphoria playing the role of Viola. And they ask the very important question: is this movie actually feminist? or does its portrayal of gender not hold up today?

Twilight & New Moon (Part 2)
