Welcome back to the All Things Food podcast. This week host Nickie Hursthouse speaks with Tessa Vincent. Tessa has a law and politics background but has found her passion lies in reducing food waste. 
After working for judges, MPs and a Minister, she left Parliament to set up NZ Food Waste Champions 12.3. This organisation’s mission is to halve food waste by 2030 in New Zealand. 
Tessa is passionate about food waste reduction as it is a tangible way we can resolve climate change - food waste accounts for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
This episode was recorded before Tessa left for the UK where she is studying public policy at Oxford University.
