Protidino Tobo Gata - Every Day I’ll sing your song (by Rabindranath Tagore)
In 1998, I travelled to Calcutta and studied Rabindrasangeet (the songs of Rabindranath Tagore) with Rajeswar Bhattacharya. The following year, I continued studying these songs with Sharmila Banerjee in Philadelphia. Here I am singing in Bengali language, and adding English lyrics which I created to help Western audiences to experience these songs.

For all Women and those who love them: You ARE enough!...time to be Satisfied with YOU!
This is a song I recorded in 2017...by Betty McFarlane. Betty was 80 when she wrote it at a women's songwriting workshop weekend. To my knowledge, there are no other recordings of this song that I can find...I thought I'd put this up as something completely different for any woman out there who might be doubting herself...this is fun and uplifting and powerful at the same time...the message is - Accept yourself as you are...You are the perfect you! From that place of acceptance, you can do great things.
