In today’s passage we continue our introductory comments highlighting several of the principles that must be kept in mind when studying the prophetic writings of Scripture in general and the Olivet Discourse in particular.

In today’s passage we begin our study of the famous “Olivet Discourse” - a protracted section of teaching by Jesus on the subject of future events. This passage has a wide diversity of interpretive opinion, with some possibilities more or less plausible than others.
