The Father's desire for us as His followers is that we would be one as we gather around the person of Christ. Unfortunately, we live in a polarised, fragmented and divided world, and this reality can permeate our life together as the Church—working against God's creational intent. Yet, we are called to love, to pursue oneness, and to seek unity.
This series will explore the vision of a community that is one and the postures that are required to stay at the table in the face of relational tension. May we be a community of image-bearers who are truly known by our love for one another as we become a genuine and deep community that gathers around Christ.
Dave kicks off our new series That They May Be One with an overview of what we will dive into over the next couple of months. To partner and participate in Jesus’ prayer for oneness and unity among His church requires that we adopt postures of humility, forgiveness, love and joy.

This week Nartarsha has a conversation with Joel and Ally Dowling on Hosting God's presence.God is present everywhere: we cannot escape or hide ourselves from him. As we become aware of God’s presence and align ourselves with Him, we become a habitation of His presence. God's presence is more important than anything else. It is the compass for our lives.

Andrew leads us in a Power and Presence service. He share on how God is more interested in our availability more than our ability. When we trust in who He is for us we can step away from living for self, and move towards His Presence and power flowing through our lives.

Flowing on from the theme of “Abide” in Term 1, Nartarsha delves into the significance of Easter as the crucial moment when connecting into the vine (Jesus) became possible and explore what it is to be In Him.

Our pursuit of being a people formed into the image of Jesus begins in a life of communion with Him. In John 15, Jesus invites His followers to abide in Him—to live a life where we remain, stay, and dwell in Him. Abiding in Him results in the bearing of fruit. Yet, the bearing of fruit comes through both pruning and cleansing. As the vinedresser, the Father cuts off every branch in us that does not bear fruit.
Fruitfulness is the result of pruning and cleansing all that is not of Him in our hearts. Fruitfulness is about our formation to Christlikeness—sharing the same inner essence as Christ Himself. This series is an invitation to Abide, to surrender to the pruning of the vinedresser as we seek to be a people who bear lasting fruit.
