You know how every day someone asks "how are you?" And even if you’re totally dying inside, you just say "fine," so everyone can go about their day? This show is the opposite of that. Hosted by author and notable widow (her words) Nora McInerny, this is a funny/sad/uncomfortable podcast about talking honestly about our pain, our awkwardness, and our humanness, which is not an actual word. From American Public Media.

Fantastic stories

I was really thrilled to find this podcast of intensely interesting real life stories. But I might have to stop listening.....

Please, please, please consider toning down (or getting rid of) the constant background music. It is hideous for those of us with sensory processing issues.

Totally relatable! Love it.

This podcast has a great variety of topics that speaks volumes to those of us in the human race who have been thrown a few dud hands in the deck of life. It helps to hear other peoples stories and hear what I might be thinking but don’t say. Keep up the good work.
