Re: Ben Smart & Olivia Hope

To accompany my 5 star review -
I find hosts Justin and Aaron very informative, knowledgeable and appreciate the direct manner in which they discuss their cases.

Regarding Ben Smart and Olivia Hope; I am
a kiwi therefore grew up aware of their case.
I am of the opinion that although Scott Watson does not come across a likeable individual he is innocent of murdering Olivia and Ben.
I believe Guy Wallace’s initial account, then no doubt unbiased regarding dropping Ben and Olivia to a two not one mast ketch; a yacht in no regards similar to Blade. Guy would have more than likely endured bullying tactics from the Police and Media in the interest of altering his memory of the evenings events.
I have always believed in the two mast ketches existence due to the multiple witness accounts and as this distinctive yacht disappeared, Ben and Olivia with it.
Scott Watson’s timeline certainly creates doubt regarding his innocence however his admission regarding returning to his boat by 2am then unseen returning ashore and being witnessed harassing Oliver, does not prove he potentially murdered and disposed of two individuals.

I echo many New Zealanders when I state Ben and Olivia’s case is a tragedy all around.

Well researched, addicitve and mind boggling episodes

Love this podcast. Have listened to many other true crime podcasts recently, and these two really know how to discuss true crime! I like the commentry, and the opinions of the hosts. The chatty nature of the podcast is great - a little bit easier and comfortable to listen to than the "story" type true crime podcasts.

Great podcast

Great coverage of New Zealand cases as well as other international cases. Very professional and respectful. I think your take on Albert Fish would be great to hear.
