Jean Smart says performing real stand-up comedy is “too scary,” but she loves doing it for an audience of extras paid to laugh on the set of “Hacks,” which returns for a third season this Thursday on Max.

George Takei

Why I won’t be able to watch any more
Stephen, I cannot tell you how much I love you and your show! You helped all of us through those horrific Drumpf years. I will miss the laughs more than I can say. Unfortunately, the hiring of a traitor to Democracy, Mulvaney, is a bridge too far. I cannot in good conscience, condone this. From here on there will be no CBS or CBS affiliated content allowed in my home. I will now also have to unfollow on my podcast apps. I hope someday soon, you are able to take your considerable talents elsewhere. God Bless.
