Just finished MAG 200…

I just finished the final episode. It is worth listening to all 200. I will never be the same again. It is beautifully written and acted. My only problem is occasionally the sound mixing, statements can be a little quiet compared to ads etc. Suits the mood of the episodes, I guess.
Best podcast ever

I had started listening to this podcast last year… and “I’m in love with it” would be an understatement. Hats off to Jonathan Sims for such amazing content and a special thanks to the editors who keep the background just enough to make it sound like a true horror.
Terrifyingly addictive

I've been listening to this podcast almost non stop over the last few weeks in an effort to catch up, and this is a wonderful podcast! The feelings of genuine terror that this show has evoked are on a level unparalleled by others I have listened to. The production value and attention to detail are absolutely stunning. I love the Magnus Archives and live in perpetual concern for its employees
Pretty damn good

The writing is particularly good. The over aching plot is really cool when the dots start to join, but it does take a long time to get to that point. A downside is the sound production. The tape recorder EQ treatment of the voice - while its part of the story, it’s over used and is tiresome to listen to. The dynamic range makes it difficult to hear everything clearly without constantly turning the volume up and down. Also, a lack of cast members means that several characters are played by the same voice - eg ep 39, the character Elias is clearly the same actor as John the head archivist - this really pulled me out of the story at this point. Other than that, very enjoyable.
