    illustrator and teacher. She works with a lot of different mediums and

    Harry & David, Smith & Hawken, Levis Jeans, Danone and Salesforce among

    children under the name “Elvira Ashby” and for grown ups under the name

    We Dee Tan is a children’s book illustrator and writer. Her debut book,
    Lilli, has been long listed for the Kate Greenway Award and short listed
    for the Klaus Flugge Prize in 2016. She loves writing and illustrating
    books that appeal to both adults and children. When Wen Dee Tan is not
    working on her own books, she’s illustrating educational books. She’s
    currently represented by Mark Gottlieb at Trident Media Group.

I like the diversity of fields that the artists come from. The interview covers the challenges of the artist during his/her start-up period, and their personal insight on overcoming these challenges. Highly recommended for any artist.
