#41 WYNTER COMFORT: FROM FEELING LIKE “JUST A MOM” TO MOM, COACH AND BUSINESS OWNER. WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO GAIN A PART OF ME BACK THAT I LOST.

Today I’m bringing on Wynter Comfort, the No BS Self-Care Coach for Moms who just weeks after launching her coaching business started working with 3 clients.

Wynter’s story is for you if you’ve been feeling like you just want MORE meaning and freedom in your life but you’ve been feeling stuck and losing momentum after trying several things that just aren’t working.

I love Wynter’s story because when she came to me she felt like her life “wasn’t enough.” And she felt super guilty because she was a mom. But she knew she wanted more and had more to give but she just didn’t know how to make progress.

In this episode we talk about the biggest shift that Wynter made to help her go from stuck in her business to landing 3 clients and feeling amazing working with them.

We also get into some mindset talk, including why writing DOWN your thoughts is one of the most powerful things you can do to take back control of them.

Wynter also shares her 2-part secret formula for having success and gaining momentum in your business. They’re not to be taken lightly and I second these 2 pieces of advice myself!

If you’re curious about the program Wynter recently graduated from, Path to Freedom, you can check it out at Punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom. Enrollment just opened up today for the next few days until spots fill up! Be sure to book a call to see if it’s a good fit before all the call times are taken!

I know you are going to love this podcast, especially if you are curious about coaching but you just don’t think you’re qualified or could really make it a reality. Literally just 3 months ago, Wynter was just like you. Had never really considered coaching as a true career path, and yet here she is today, confident, coaching 3 new clients and absolutely loving her new found fulfillment.

If you enjoy this episode I’d love for you to let us know by sharing it on your Instagram stories and tagging us! I’m @Punchdrunksoul and Wynter is @WynterComfortLLC.

Again, if you’re interested in checking out the program Wynter did with me, Path to Freedom Coach Academy, you can go to punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom to check it out! We just opened up enrollment TODAY!

    Aha Moments:
Wynter’s biggest shift to go from stuck in her new business to enrolling 3 clients

Why writing down your thoughts is the best mindset hack to rewire your mind

Why you need to sell your clients what they want and then deliver what you know they need

How Wynter overcame the guilt of feeling like her life wasn’t enough as a mom

Wynter’s best advice for moms who want to start a coaching business

Wynter’s 2 part secret to success formula

Why there’s no real competition among coaches

#40 CARLY VAN LANINGHAM: HOW I OVERCAME MY FEARS OF BEING TOO YOUNG AND UNDERQUALIFIED TO BE A COACH AND AM NOW LIVING MY BEST LIFE WITH PAYING CLIENTS

Today I’m bringing on Carly Van Laningham who is a new coach, just 10 months into her business. I wanted to share her journey with you guys because I know how scary it can feel to get started, to launch your business and to find the confidence to actually coach people.

These are issues Carly has near and dear to her heart because she’s been working through them in the last few months - religiously! Like daily.

So if you’re finding yourself thinking “I’m too young, not qualified, not good enough to coach,” THIS episode is for you. This is a transformational podcast because I know many of you will relate to exactly what Carly has gone through.

We explore what her first year as a coach has been like, how she’s let go of stories of self-doubt, how she’s embraced her true nature and is happier, healthier, more in love and excited about life and business than ever before.

And she said this journey to her new identity and life all started with my 4 Day Soul Aligned Biz Challenge - WHICH - if you don’t know yet, starts on Monday! This Monday, February 10th! #39 LINDSEY BADILLO: HOW I DEFINED MY COACHING NICHE AND AREA OF EXPERTISE, FOUND ALIGNMENT AND FULFILLMENT IN MY WORK, AND LANDED 2 CLIENTS IN JUST 8 WEEKS.

#39 LINDSEY BADILLO: HOW I DEFINED MY COACHING NICHE AND AREA OF EXPERTISE, FOUND ALIGNMENT AND FULFILLMENT IN MY WORK, AND LANDED 2 CLIENTS IN JUST 8 WEEKS.

Today I have a special guest on the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast who’s energy I just love, and you’re going to love it to. She’s a new coach who just graduated from my Path to Freedom Coach Accelerator program - Lindsey Badillo.

Lindsey is a love & relationship coach who helps women develop more intimacy and connection in their long term relationships and marriages. She recently started working with her first 2 clients this year and is absolutely loving it.

If you’re curious about the program Lindsey recently graduated from, Path to Freedom, you can check it out at Punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom.

I’m so excited to share her journey with you all because just like many of you - she actually started her coaching journey by listening to this VERY podcast! She found me through Instagram, then checked out my podcast, became hooked and at one point late last year, she set the intention of being a guest coach on the podcast with me!

I had no idea that was on her vision board until I actually asked if I could interview her. We both share how crazy it is when life moves so fast! We don’t even realize how it’s always working in our favor until BOOM, one day you have everything you always wanted.

I love Lindsey’s story because I relate to it so much. She always felt a deep desire to learn about and help people, which is why she first started out as a psychology major in college, a degree I also considered. Then she switched to teaching - again to HELP people. But when she graduated and started teaching she realized it wasn’t fulfilling her in the way she wanted. It didn’t align with her heart, her soul, and her purpose in the world.

In this episode we dive into how she finally came to understand what it means to be in alignment, how she practices BEING in alignment and feeling good, what it’s been like to start coaching her new clients, and how to overcome your fears.

We also dive into how she learned coaching was meant for her, how she gained the confidence to become a coach, what it was like to make a significant investment in herself, and she also shares her 4 part recipe for success - and her last ingredient is to just have fun! This is also one of my key ingredients for success!

I know you are going to love this podcast, especially if you are curious about coaching but you just don’t think you’re qualified or could really make it a reality. Literally just 3 months ago, Lindsey was just like you. Had never really considered coaching as a true career path, and yet here she is today, confident, coaching 2 new clients and absolutely loving her new found fulfillment.

We both agree that it’s through listening to other people’s stories about becoming coaches that helped us take the leap. So I hope Lindsey’s episode inspires you to follow your heart and trust that if we can do it, so can you!

If you enjoy this episode I’d love for you to let us know by sharing it on your Instagram stories and tagging us! I’m @Punchdrunksoul and Lindsey is @IntimatelyLindsey.

Again, if you’re interested in checking out the program Lindsey did with me, Path to Freedom Coach Academy, you can go to punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom to get on the wait list! We’ll be opening up enrollment for it in February so jump in now before this class gets sold out, like it did the last 2 times I opened it up for enrollment.

Also, I am running my Free 4 Day Soul Aligned Biz Challenge coming up on Feb 10th that really kicked off Lindsey’s journey as a coach, which you’ll hear about in this episode. If you want to join us to get clarity on what kind of coach you should be and learn how to land your first paid clients you can go to Punchdrunksoul.com/soulbiz.

You can DM me on Instagram if you have any questions and want to chat about either.

#38 AMI MARTIN: THE MOMENT I DECIDED TO LIVE A LIFE OF PRACTICALITY, THE UNIVERSE WAS LIKE ‘NO, BITCH!’ HOW I SURVIVED AND BECAME A COACH BY MAKING A MESS.

#38 AMI MARTIN: THE MOMENT I DECIDED TO LIVE A LIFE OF PRACTICALITY, THE UNIVERSE WAS LIKE ‘NO, BITCH!’ HOW I SURVIVED AND BECAME A COACH BY MAKING A MESS.

Hi guys! We are back at it after a little Holiday Break! Welcome to the 2020 season of the Punch Drunk Soul podcast! I’m excited to bring you MORE amazing guest, more incredible, inspiring stories, and even more value to you guys this year in 2020.

My word for 2020 is joy. My goal this year is to feel more of it. To really experience more pleasure and joy and reap the benefits of everything I’ve accomplished in my business in the last 2 years. While many entrepreneurs mark their growth by increased revenue, this year I am going to mark my growth with how much joy I can feel WHILE growing my business at a sustainable rate and not burning out.

I’m excited to share my journey with you alongside the other amazing guests I’ll be bringing on the podcast this year.

To kick us off, I brought on a good friend and client, Ami Martin. Ami took Path to Freedom in the spring of 2019 and it’s been really fun to watch her continue her journey. Ami is a growth & relationship coach in both Seattle & Los Angeles who helps women go from anxious to confident AF in their dating lives.

I brought Ami on because she has a unique path in that once she realized what she wanted to do with her life - coach others - she gained the confidence to truly commit to it. She tells us in this episode she gave herself a commitment of 3 years which after year 1 turned into 10 years!

She has gone down the path of certification via Neuro Linguistic Programming so she’s going to share some of the tricks and tools she’s learned from that program as well as the lessons she’s learned along the way in her journey.

Ami’s story is one of hiding in fear for many years, taking the road of practicality and “safety” as many of us do in our 20’s and often 30’s and then she finally got the courage to start exploring. I love that she thinks of her journey as an experiment, not a destination. I know you’re going to love her approach to life and building a business.

One of my FAVORITE parts of this episode is when Ami explains what coaching is to her and how coaches are like modern day “elders” who guide people along their journey’s based on their own experience. You know how clans people used to sit around the fire and trade stories and learn about life, love, war, art, language and so many other things? Well, that’s what group coaching calls are these days!

If you’re a new coach who’s feeling insecure about coaching or charging money for your services you’re going to love this perspective Ami gives. It will open your eyes to the true value you’re providing.

If you enjoy this episode I’d love for you to let us know by sharing it on your Instagram stories and tagging us! I’m @Punchdrunksoul and Ami is @AmiMartinLove (Ami with an I).

If you’re interested in checking out the program Ami did with me, Path to Freedom Coach Academy, you can go to punchdrunksoul.com/pathtofreedom to get on the wait list! We’ll be opening up enrollment for it in February so jump in now before this class gets sold out like the last 2 times I opened it up for enrollment.

You can DM me on Instagram if you have any questions and want to chat about it.

OK let’s get into this interview - you’re going to love it!

    Aha Moments:
How pursuing an acting career led Ami to her passion of coaching

How we cover our truths and our pain by numbing with food, relationships, social media, etc

The terrifying reality of realizing the dreams you had for yourself may not actually be what you’re meant to do with the rest of your life and how to handle that

When certification might be a good next step for you

How to break down your experience and wisdom into steps for other people to coach them

The shortcut and tools to embed new beliefs in your subconscious

#37 JULIE VALBUENA: HOW MUCH IS YOUR CONFIDENCE WORTH? HOW TO GAIN REAL CONFIDENCE AS A NEW COACH. CONFIDENCE = INCOME. SELLING WHAT YOUR CLIENTS WANT, DELIVERING WHAT THEY NEED.

#37 JULIE VALBUENA: HOW MUCH IS YOUR CONFIDENCE WORTH? HOW TO GAIN REAL CONFIDENCE AS A NEW COACH. CONFIDENCE = INCOME. SELLING WHAT YOUR CLIENTS WANT, DELIVERING WHAT THEY NEED.

In this episode of the Punch Drunk Soul podcast, I’m interviewing Julie Valbuena. I wanted to chat with Julie because she, like many other new coaches I know, had trouble getting into action at first and simply getting started. She tried to put all the pieces together herself for years, attending webinars, getting on email lists, downloading workbooks, reading books, but finally threw her hands up in the air and got on a clarity call with a coach that completely changed everything for her.

We don’t call them Clarity Calls for no reason guys, they truly help get you clear on your goals, clear on what’s stopping you from achieving them, and clear on a roadmap forward. If you’re on a clarity call with a good coach, that coach will make sure you walk away crystal clear on how you want to move forward and what you’re willing to do about your goals and problems, regardless of whether or not the two of you decide to work together.

On that note, I want to pause and offer a clarity session to a few lucky listeners today who are dreaming of starting or growing soul-aligned coaching businesses. To the women who book a call with me before the end of the year, I want to give away my 2-part meditation pack to help you overcome your fears and limiting beliefs and manifest the life, money and business of your dreams valued at $47. I’m also going to throw in my Millionaire Mindset hypnosis that I’ve created and been using on myself for the past few months to help me create $70,000 in the last 2 months alone. I haven’t sold this hypnosis ever before, so it’s a special treat to those of you who are brave enough to jump on a call with me and get your 2020 coaching business mapped out. I want to reward you for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something to help you move forward towards your goals of becoming an impactful, profitable coach in 2020.

This clarity session is for you if you’re wanting to make 2020 the year you grow your coaching business. It’s for you if you want help creating the income and impact you know you’re capable of but you haven’t been able to achieve just yet. You can book it at punchdrunksoul.com/claritycall.

But back to this episode! Julie went through a divorce a few years back, similar to Shana on our last episode, and it totally transformed her life. She became a new woman and the women in her life took notice and started to come to her seeking help. That’s when she realized she wanted to coach. She overcame something extremely tough and came out better for it and she wanted the opportunity to work with women to do the same.

The lesson we hear time and time again in these interviews is that you have to start before you’re ready and you just need to be a few steps ahead of the people you want to help.

After making several big investments, Julie got majorrrr skin in the game and started showing up differently. That’s when she says she began to land consistent clients through her Facebook group and email marketing and she’s only been in business about a year now.

What I love about this episode is Julie is a REALLY new coach. But she’s been playing big to learn how to make her business work quickly. She really shares honestly about what it’s been like to invest in high-ticket coaches multiple times to get her where she wanted to be in her first year in business.

She also shares what it was like to be in trial and error on her own for a while and how it caused her to lose confidence and almost quit like many other coaches do who lose confidence early on in their business.

We dive into where she finds clients and how she has the confidence to sell to her potential clients on this episode and so much more!

I think one of the things her and I really connect on is that you HAVE to be confident in what you’re selling. If yo

#36 SHANA STANLEY: OWNING WHO YOU ARE & LOVING ALL PARTS OF YOU. COMING OUT, GETTING DIVORCED, BECOMING A COACH AND A SELF DOUBT SLAYER.

Hi guys, Ali Daniel back with another episode of the Punch Drunk Soul Podcast! Today I’m bringing Shana Stanley to the table to share her journey with us. Shana is a coach, hypnotherapist, mother, and former-wallflower-turned-outgoing-introvert. She helps women, right now she focuses mainly on divorced and newly single women and those who identify as women, to break free from their social anxiety and self-doubt so they can live the BOMBass life they crave.

Shana is also an alumni of Path to Freedom Coach Accelerator , which she graduated from this summer too!

I’m really excited to bring Shana on the show because she is such an incredible example of a woman who has really stepped out into the scariest shit known to man and has sort of rose from the ashes. She was doing all the things to survive a marriage and life that she was unhappy in by going to yoga, listening to podcasts, reading all the self-help books, meditating, but nothing was working. Finally, she stepped into the fire and did the deep work it took to get back into alignment, which she shares in this interview. This led her to coming out, getting a divorce and now starting her own coaching business.

We get into so many good topics today around coaching, what it takes to be a coach, how to deal with the self-doubt as we are trying to start our own coaching business, overcoming what other people think, money blocks, dealing with childhood wounds, you name it, we get into it.

Shana is actually launch a new coaching program in January 2020 to help women going through a divorce or breakup give up feeling “not good enough” and step into a new transformed and badass life post-separation. If you’re curious to learn more you can follow up with Shana through the links in the episode description!

    Aha Moments:

What to do when “all the things” like self-help books, yoga and podcasts aren’t working

2 powerful things you can do to get into alignment and feel happy again

We all have childhood wounds and traumas, even those of us with happy childhoods

How to handle it when you think “Who am I to be a coach?”

How visualizing money in this different way will help you release your money blocks

How to overcome your fears by understanding their validity

Why you need to own all parts of yourself before you can be truly happy

Self-care is PART of your job as a coach

When you really want something, first you have to decide how MUCH and what you’re willing to do to get it before you can have it

    SO much more!

Hannah Gaisford ,

Punch Drunk Soul is relatable and wonderful

I am so glad that I have been introduced to this Podcast. I have been really low this week, feeling like I was seperating on a daily basis from my true self as addressed in the first episode. I constantly feel like I ask for permission from those around me before I take action steps towards what will make me happy. Their are so many golden moments even just in the first episode that are both helpful and encouraging. It's nice to have a platform where you can hear real examples from people who perhaps are not that disimilar to me. Keep them coming :)
