Ep. 24: Authentic Wellness with Nkem Chukwumerije

Ep. 24: Authentic Wellness with Nkem Chukwumerije

In this week’s episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Nkem Chukwumerije. She is a teaching artist, healing artist, creative entrepreneur, and the founder of Wellspringwords.
Wellspringwords is a literary anthology and creative enrichment studio that serves to enhance the holistic well-being of women of color, first, through the cultivation of unique wisdom via intuitive writing, storytelling, creative embodiment, and authentic expression.
This conversation was really beautiful and fluid. I’m so thankful to have spoken with her. We discuss so much, ranging from creativity and our families to embodiment practice, surrender, and so much more.
I appreciate Nkem’s honesty, wisdom, and openness. And I’m excited for you to listen.
You can learn more about Nkem’s work, including her podcast, which we reference in this episode. And some exciting news is that she recently released a poetry collection that is available for the whole world to order. Everything, including the episode’s transcript, will be linked in the show notes.

Ep. 22: Are You Standing In Your Own Way?

Ep. 22: Are You Standing In Your Own Way?

Hi! I’m excited to be back with more episodes for the Undiscovered Worth Podcast. In this episode, I bring you up to speed on what’s new (and the same) since the last episode aired in Fall 2022. I also talk about my quest to divest from capitalism, seek authentic wellness, and read an excerpt from a Five-Minute Letter I sent to the community a few weeks ago about standing in our own way.
The next series of episodes will be all about various topics related to authentic wellness — mainly how we can practice authentic wellness in a world that seems hellbent on keeping us unwell for profit and control. I’m excited to have a number of guests join me to discuss, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
    The episode’s transcript is available.
