Chapter 13 in THE STORY tells of King Solomon, who started his reign as King of Israel strongly, only to finish poorly. Wisdom and even warnings from God could not keep him from slowly moving away from God. It’s a biblical illustration of The Frog in the Kettle and it offers us wise instruction for staying away from “luke warm pots”.

In this 12th chapter of the Story, we learn about David's battle with sin. His failures with Bathsheba will cause a whirlwind of problems that David will have to face. However, being a man after Gods own heart, David handles the situation a lot differently (and more humbly) than we might. Join us as we explore these trials of a king!
