Matthew 4:1-11 talks about when Jesus went into the wilderness for 40 days and was tempted by the devil. Have you ever had a time like this? A time where you felt like the Devil was right there by your side attacking you? Did you know what to say? Did you know what to do? I remember reading this and wishing that knew scripture as well as Jesus did. I wished I new the right thing to say when the devil comes to tell me the lies. This episode is about repentance and how much our heavenly Father loves us. It is about how He would do anything for you. And when you mess up, which we all do, he will waiting with open arms to welcome you back.

This week I am replaying the top 5 most played episodes. This one was #5 but also the most played Witness Wednesday.
I thought I would take today to witness about what I saw at the conference I attended last week. Encounter Ministries puts on a conference each year the week between Christmas and New Year’s. It is a three day conference and Encounter School of Ministry students are expected to attend. There were such wonderful speakers at the conference. What I especially want to witness about is a speaker named Damian Stayne. My Encounter class is reading a book right now by him called, “Renew Your Wonders Spiritual Gifts for Today.” Damian Stayne has been blessed with a really powerful gift of healing as well as words of prophecy and words of knowledge. I know you will really enjoy hearing the example of words of knowledge and also how people were healed when his shadow passed by them.

Psalm 145:1-3 “I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you, and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.” This episode talks about how to praise the Lord. It gives practical ways to praise the Lord.

Today’s episode is actually a repeat episode. I am flying to Florida this weekend to celebrate one of my very best friends as she is getting married next month. While down there I will also visit my brother. So, I decided to take these next five days off from writing a new episode and yet didn’t want to leave you without any episodes. Ephesians 3:4-6 “As you read over what I have written to you, you’ll be able to see for yourselves into the mystery of Christ. None of our ancestors understood this. Only in our time has it been made clear by God’s Spirit through his holy apostles and prophets of this new order. The mystery is that people who have never heard of God and those who have heard of him all their lives (what I’ve been calling outsiders and insiders) stand on the same ground before God. They get the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus. The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone across the board.” Today's episode talks about how great it is that God loves us all the same and that we are all on equal footing with the Lord. It goes into a bit of detail about how freeing this information can be. It also touches on how we all have the same Holy Spirit living inside of us and so we can all be praying for our loved ones who are sick.

Today’s witness is a friend, Bruce & his wife, Alice, whom I met through email back in November of 2023. The Holy Spirit led Bruce to my podcast, and as he listened, he heard the call for people to share their stories, and he decided to do a Witness Wednesday. His first witness is episode #619. If you haven’t heard it, I invite you to listen to it today. It is really good. Bruce has made a career for the past thirty years as a head scenic artist, art director, and designer in the professional theatre business. For the past five years, he has also had a studio on James St. N., where he produced his own artwork. He is known and loved by many in the community for his work teaching the PMC art class for over a decade, as well as a more recent class for seniors at the YWCA.
In the first witness, Bruce talks about how he lost his sight sort of gradually, and then he went to a healing service and was healed. However, in the morning, he could no longer see again. After hearing his witness, I asked Bruce if I could pray over him. He said yes, and I called him and his wife and prayed with them. His sight was not restored, but he felt encouraged by the Lord. I continued to pray for Bruce, and we kept in touch. Several months later, while talking to the Lord, I felt like the Lord told me it was time to pray for Bruce again. Today's witness is about that encounter.
We have all seen God working in our lives.
