All Star Stuff & Record Breakers

All Star Stuff & Record Breakers

On this weeks episode we gave a recap of the NBA All Star weekend and what we enjoyed and what we thought could be improved. Overall All Star weekend was a success especially the Saturday events. The 3pt contest between Steph and Sabrina needs to be brought back for years to come but with different NBA and WNBA players. The actual all star game was lackluster because the players don't take it as serious as the fans would like. Next we discussed Lebron James and Caitlin Clark who have both broken records. Lebron is now the only player in NBA history to have reached 40,000 points and Caitlin now has the point NCAA points of either men or women. Lastly we talked about how March Madness is approaching and we are anticipating the excitement that will be happening especially on the women's side. The NBA season is coming to an end and will your fav team make the playoffs?

NBA All Star & Super Bowl LVIII

NBA All Star & Super Bowl LVIII

On this weeks episode we discussed the trades currently happening in the WNBA gearing up for the next season. Skylar Diggins will be taking her talent to Seattle and Candace Parker will remain in Vegas with Aces, are just nan few highlights. Next we discussed the upcoming NBA All Star weekend happening 2/16 - 2/18 in Indianapolis. The format has reverted back to the original format of East vs West but this year has been some of what a shake up around a few players, Steph Curry in particular. Steph is definitely an All Star but he is not starter but a reserve. Do you agree with Steph being a reserve or was he snubbed? For Saturday activities, Steph and Sabrina Ionescu who plays in the WNBA for the New York Liberty will be having 3 point shooting contest, and we think it will definitely be a good show. Lastly we discussed Super Bowl Sunday happening on 2/11. If you have not heard, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will battle it out to see who will be champs. If we're being quite honest, this is not the super bowl many people may have wanted because the Chiefs have been a lot in previous years. A majority of people wanted a Ravens vs. Lions Super Bowl but maybe next year. The best thing happening for Super Bowl Sunday will most definitely be Usher performing for the half time show. What song are you hoping Usher performs and who do you think will be his special guests? Let us know your predictions and thoughts.

    In-Season Tournament: Yay or Nay?!

    In-Season Tournament: Yay or Nay?!

Hey, hey, hey! On this weeks episode we start off by giving NFL updates. Yes, Bre finally won a week during her family's football pool lol. Also if you haven't been paying attention the Dallas Cowboys have been playing good football and Dak Prescott is in the conversation of MVP. Do you agree with the MVP convo or where do you stand? Going into week 14 where does your NFL team stand in the rankings and who do you have going into the playoffs? Moving to the NBA, let us just say that this in-season tournament is confusing but it seems to be going well. The only thing regarding this in-season tournament that isn't pleasant and making it hard to watch, is the courts. The designs of these courts are horrible and we are not sure who approved the designs but they need to do it over. The in-season tournament is now entering into the semifinals and the championship taking placed on December 9th. Do you think that the winner of the in-season tournament will be the clear NBA finals winner or could anything happen after All Star? Let us know your thoughts.

All Sports Are Back in Action

We Back for another one! On this weeks episode we congratulate the Las Vegas Aces on winning the WNBA Championship for the second time. They went back to back! We discussed the NFL season and highlighted Bre on her weekly journey in doing picks and how she hasn't won one yet. However this season has been different than most because teams you thought should be winning have been losing. Hopefully Bre gets a win before the end of the season and it turns around. Now let's move on to the NBA which returned this week. Opening night was good and we believe that this season is going to be one that is quite interesting and good. If you haven't noticed the West Conference is severely stacked. NBA All Star is also reverting back to the East vs West instead of having two players pick who they want on their team. Overall opening week was good and we are looking forward to the season.

NFL Is Rolling and NBA Is Returning

NFL Is Rolling and NBA Is Returning

On this weeks episode we discussed the recent NFL games and more importantly how Bre is participating in weekly picks. This season has started off with a lot of upsets and teams losing by massive deficits. We also discussed the newfound fame the NFL has garnered since Taylor Switft has been attending Chiefs games in support of Travis Kielce. What is your take on Taylor Switft and the NFL? Do you like the new fame or are you over it? Next we venture over into the NBA and discuss the biggest news of the week which is Damian Lillard being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks and Jrue Holiday being traded to the Portland Trailblazers. Will this be good for Dame and does this trade automatically make the Bucks a finals contender? With a few big major trades happening this offseason how do you see the season turning out?

    Lets Catch Up

    Lets Catch Up

We Back!!! This weeks episode is a preview of what is suppose to come in this upcoming season. Football season is vastly approaching so make sure you claim your team. World Championships in track & field have been happening and it has been exciting. Congrats to all of the winners on Team USA. Noah Lyles who is the 100m, 200m and 4x100 relay winner however has made some comments how he feels like the NBA should call themselves world champions because they don't compete against the world. These comments however have been sitting well with the players in the NBA. Do you agree with Noah Lyles? Speaking lightly on the NBA our favorite players who we grew up on are getting older and it poses the question of what will the future of the NBA look like? Do you think its in great hands or could it use some improvement? Let us know your thoughts.
