She is a leader well-recognized as being innovative and

strategic.      With  vision,  creativity  and  problem-solving

skills,  Linda  has  led  change  in  law  firms  and  in  higher

education.   She integrates her expertise to support client

transformational change initiatives, leadership transition

planning for family businesses, leadership development,

strategic management and collaborations, and corporate

governance matters.

Linda  founded  Adaptive  Knowledge  Institute  (AKI)  to

assist  family  businesses  with  leadership  transition

planning  and  leadership  development.    AKI’s  mission  is  to  be  a  catalyst  providing

individuals and companies relevant knowledge to achieve personal, professional and

business success.

From 2011-2014 she served as the Chair (Dean) of  Baldwin Wallace University’s School

of  Business  in  Berea,  Ohio  where  she  oversaw  the  undergraduate,  MBA  and

Professional Development programs and all administrative aspects of the School.

For over twenty years, Linda had a successful legal career as a business and real estate

transactional lawyer representing private and public companies, and entrepreneurs.

Shortly after beginning her legal career at a large Cleveland law firm, she formed a law

firm then known as Buckley, King & Bluso which grew to become one of the largest law

firms  in  Ohio.    Noted  to  be  the  first  woman  attorney  in  Ohio  to  be  a  named  and

founding partner of a large law firm in Ohio, she served in various leadership roles

including serving as an Executive Committee member and as the firm’s Administrative

Partner.

In 2002, she became a partner at Brouse, McDowell, Co., an Akron, Ohio headquartered

law firm, and  in 2005,  she became  the  firm’s first woman  to be  named  Partner-In-

Charge of its Cleveland, Ohio office.

Active in the broader community, she is a past chair and board member of In Counsel

With Women, an organization of Northeast Ohio executive women who have achieved

success at the highest levels in their respective industries. Linda has served in many

board and community leadership roles in the Greater Cleveland civic and philanthropic

communities.  She has received many awards and recognized for her contributions to

the community.
