All of Nigeria is going through a civil movement to put an end to police brutality, especially from the SARS unit of the Nigerian police.
Police officers from the SARS unit are targeting Nigerian Youths who look like they have money. These officers have beaten, robbed, and even killed their own citizens. All for what? Greed? Power?
As fellow Nigerians, it is very sad for us to hear what is happening in our Mother country. But at the same time, there was a shift that needed to happen in Nigeria and maybe this is the beginning of the shift.
There are also many other African countries (Namibia, DR Congo, Ghana, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Cameroon, Liberia, Ivory Coast) going through their own movements/protests. I pray Africa as a continent can come together and protect each other. It's time to unite as a continent and rise to our full potential.
