In a maelstrom of fists & dirt, Guy spoils the town’s plans in a good ol' fashioned brawl. Limping out of the scuffle in a blood-soaked stupor, he comes to find out this wasn’t the ticket out he was hoping for. The pain is mounting & his body is a clock ticking toward collapse. With enemies on every side, Guy seeks shelter in the last place he’d expect hospitality and takes the only option to ease some of his battle wounds — he ingests the town’s homemade drug. In a flurry of glowing revelations, Guy decides it might be time to try some religion.

Guy stumbles upon another one of the town’s ungodly fixtures — a cornfield that wails and moans as if it were in pain. The droning seems to mesmerize the town’s addict population. Short on time, Guy lets his fists ask some questions and buys himself a ticket to the junkie’s supplier — The Mister. If Guy is this tale’s hardboiled detective, The Mister is the Kingpin and Femme Fatale wrapped in a twisted shell.

When Guy stomps on too many toes, the townsfolk stomp back and hang him out to dry. The townies' cruel brand of justice doesn’t stick, though, and while wriggling on the line, he finally finds some people crazy enough to talk. With new information clenched in his fist, he doesn’t just have a job to do; he’s got a score to settle.

A stranger, known only as “Guy,” rolls into a "middle of nowhere" town and asks around for work. When the locals stonewall him, he radios the man who sent him there. This town is full of rogues & bastards — sent there as punishment. They're getting out somehow and that won’t fly. Guy’s here to plug the leak or he’ll find himself abandoned in this hellhole.
