This is it, folks! After 5 years and an uncountable number of burps, Amie and Tami are signing off with this very special episode that brings us full circle. Our very first topic in episode 1 was Marylin Monroe, and for our final recording we rented a room in the place where Marylin had her very own suite and spent some of her happiest years: THE HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT! We talk Marylin's ghost, conspiracy theories about her death, and a lot about nachos. We wrapped up some loose ends with our remaining 50 States of Ghosts locations, and Tami finally get s to pay off a joke she set up like 2 years ago (it's the final episode and OU STILL SUCKS!). What's more macho than a loud-ass motorcycle? A loud-ass motorcycle blasting Footloose, of course! This week puts Tami's pregnancy hormones to the test when we discuss GHOST PETS!!! Tami learns what literally everyone apparently already knew about red cardinals and how they can be a sign of passed loved ones, and really brings the whole room down talking about a dead dog named Duckie. Amie brings us a variety of My Ghost Stories tales about pets, an upsetting number of which feature pets who have neglected to bring a few body parts with them from beyond. Thank goodness this is a podcast, because we are SICK of seeing our own faces these days! Luckily we've got a new face to distract us with our first in a very long time guest, Kyla! Somebody call Kitty Protective Services, because these gals are crossing some boundaries! This week Tami and Amie watch and recap ghost shows, both new and old. Amie thirst-watches an episode of Ghost Brothers, where a family of four has to deal with hipster ghosts who don't consider 'Nsync worthy of vinyl. And Tami discovers the delightful Knock, Knock Ghost, where a group of gay Canadians joke and scream their way through a haunted fort. And, nbd, the Banshees are growing by two feet: Tami's having a baby!
