At last, the end is upon us. Recently promoted co-host Kevin Flynn (Whale Whale Whale) joins Tim and Dan for one final excursion into the depths of Aaron Sorkin's psyche. What they find is a bunch of dangling plot threads that somehow manage to resolve themselves without any of the characters having to do anything. It's what a finale that a more generous reviewer would call "frustratingly optimistic." But wait until you hear our ideas for season two!

In a perfect world, the third episode of a three-part story arc would at least attempt to resolve some of its myriad storylines. But that's not how Sorkin does it, baby! Comedy writer (and official Crazy Christians Two-Timers Club member) Kevin Flynn joins us to ponder this anti-climactic penultimate episode of Studio 60. Simon should for sure be fired! Matt has a bone to pick with George Bush's "megaphone moment!" And over half the cast fails to appear in the episode!

In a cynical attempt to boost their own ratings, Tim and Dan kidnap Tim's younger brother Matt and force him against his will to watch a late-season episode of Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. Luckily (or unluckily) he managed to get stuck with an episode where not much happens. Sorkin is really treading water on this one until NBC pulls the proverbial plug. Flashback Matt can't help himself with the political humor! Jordan's medical problems prevent her from appearing in this episode! And Simon finally reveals himself to be this show's true villain!

Last week, it seemed like things couldn't get any more heightened. But now Sorkin has added in some kidnapping, ransom, and some much needed flashbacks to the weeks following 9/11. It is truly a recipe for comedy. Joining Dan and Tim for the intro to the K&R trilogy is ClickHole contributor and all around good guy Gabriel Laks. Watch as Danny and Jordan get engaged! The sexual harassment lawyer reveals her black ops connections! And, finally, Luke Scott gets to pitch his 100% Islamophobia sketch show!

With the end in sight, Aaron Sorkin decides to pull out all the stops and literally cram every plot line from every TV show ever into this very cramped Sunset Strip Studio. This week, comedy writer, fellow podcaster, and Tim's co-worker Megan Meadows joins us to discuss "Breaking News," the set up for the penultimate four-parter that will finally end this charade. The ratings are down! Matt gets confronted about his drugs but he's already quit sort of! And, look out Lil' Nate, something is afoot in Afghanistan!

As far as we're concerned, this show has always been a disaster. But this week, Aaron Sorkin claims to be doing it on purpose. Comedy writer Matt Garczynski joins us for a particularly bizarre episode that supposedly brings Studio 60 back to its roots. Which means we get to see some real bad sketches. Matt, Danny, and Jordan are MIA. Cal dabbles in some mid-2000s Islamophobia. And host Alison Janney learns the true value of show business!
