Episode #10 THE FINAL EPISODE OF THE SEASON I speak with Tamara Cohen from Philadelphia about how she got Spanish citizenship via the Law of Return (ie the apology from Spain to Sephardic Jews kicked out via inquisition), we discuss her Sephardic roots from Spain to Turkey to Cuba, we discuss the Ladino Language (Spanish - Hebrew Mix) AND we talk about how she started selling bagels and pumpkin pies made in her toaster oven from her apartment and how that turned into a newly opened delicious physical bagel shop in Madrid named Mazal. Episode #9 I cross paths with Ryan Turner, originally from Atlanta he's been in Europe since he was 22, he's now 36 - we trace the timeline of his original start in Italy, his move to Madrid - meeting his wife, having kids, moving back to Italy, getting diagnosed with cancer - and kicking cancer's ass before moving back to Madrid and starting his own company and may more details in between.
