    Darmawan Prasodjo, Research Economist at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, recently presented on "OptimaCCS Carbon Capture and Storage Infrastructure Optimization" as part of the Nicholas Institute and the UPEP Environmental Institution Spring 2012 Seminar Series. OptimaCCS maps out cost-efficient options for overall CCS network design, including pipeline routes, necessary pipe diameters and lengths, efficiencies from using shared pipelines, and the impact of sequestration costs. The software has been deployed to design the most optimal CCS network in Texas, North Carolina, and at the national level.
