Chuck’s Roadhouse Restaurant Review – Soul Forge #324

Chuck’s Roadhouse Restaurant Review – Soul Forge #324

    Chuck’s Roadhouse Restaurant Review!

New ideas are brewing at Soul Forge HQ. Shawn and Leah are bringing you more excitement and adventure. The topics are going to be vast and wide-ranging. We plan to bring our listeners an enhanced podcast experience. Stay tuned for the updated format!

We recently got into meal prep. It seemed like a great idea to have ready-made ideas for a week’s worth of dinners. We planned an amazing meal, but time got away from us. Therefore, we decided to go to a restaurant because it was too late to cook. We discussed many new podcast ideas while at the restaurant. Chuck’s Roadhouse restaurant review was born! Plenty of new ideas are coming up.

This episode talks about the good and the bad you may experience at a Chuck’s restaurant. We’re talking about tipping etiquette, half-price apps and a whole lot more. We even had dessert this week!

    From Chuck’s website:

Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill has been a beacon to road travellers everywhere since 2015. We pay homage to the traditional roadhouses by providing not only a great atmosphere, but an unwavering commitment to serving the best quality food for the best price. Due to the high demand from our guests across Canada, Chuck’s Roadhouse continues to expand at an increasingly rapid pace.

Food the way it ought to be, priced the way it used to be.

Not only a statement used to represent our brand, but a mindset applied to the process in which our menu is crafted.

Quality menu items including: AAA steaks, Lobster Tail, Prime Rib Burgers, Ice Cold Draught and more, for a fraction of our competitors’ prices. We appeal to communities who look for that classic roadhouse taste, comfortable ambiance and second-to-none guest experience. We’re a brand dedicated to delivering a hospitable dining experience and creating that comfortable place for everyone to enjoy a meal, grab a drink or watch their favourite team on the big screen TV’s.

The 42cast Episode 199: Two Hosts in Search of a Topic (EmandEn 2)

Our intrepid hosts are back as Nathan and Emma once again take center stage to discuss the topics near and dear to their hearts in a conversation recorded back in June of last year. This time they do their best to find a theme, but end up realizing that it’s a lot more fun to switch to any idea that catches their fancy at any given moment. Join them as they discuss topics as varied as manatees, body shaming; the academy awards; why biology hits different than chemistry and physics; the merits of the film, Liar Liar; and so much more. Along the way you’ll learn more about Nathan and Emma then you ever have on this show.

This whole episode veers towards controversy, so there is no five-minute controversy this week.

    Flopcast 630: Something Especially Idiotic

    Flopcast 630: Something Especially Idiotic

Flopcast episode 630! Kevin just watched a horrible movie and can’t wait to tell the Mayor all about it! So kids, welcome to 1978’s Record City. It’s purportedly a comedy, but yikes, not a single joke lands. But at least the setting is fun, since the whole thing takes place at a late 70s California record store, and they have the Blondie and Jim Croce posters to prove it. The movie is also notable for its ensemble cast of familiar faces from Flopcast favorites like Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Brady Bunch, Batman, Lost Saucer, and even Pink Lady and Jeff. Get ready for some wacky (and problematic and cringeworthy) record store hijinks that completely fail to entertain. Meanwhile, just outside Record City, there’s a big talent show hosted by a certain Disco Duck-singing DJ, and starring a certain Sledge-O-Matic-wielding comedian. Do we recommend that you watch Record City? Absolutely not. Does Record City somehow feature just one single arm from a gorilla suit? Oh yes, it sure does.
