God Awful Questions Jackson
-
- Religión y espiritualidad
Teaching religious studies to high schoolers I've heard some pretty awful questions about God. Rather than share my own thoughts on reoccurring themes I've interviewed people who have put a lot of thought into these questions. Interestingly their responses to awful questions show that God questions leave them awe filled.

What is God? (Sue Esterman)
In a final (at least for now) discussion of the question 'What is God?' I chat with my friend Sue Esterman, an active member of Wellington’s Progressive Jewish community.
Once again questions seem to be our friends as we wrestle with this God Awful Question. -
What is God? (Bruce Dean)
In search of an answer to the 'What is God?' I sit down with Bruce Dean from Wellington’s ‘School of Philosophy.
In true philosophical style, he offers more questions than answers. However, this might just be the key to the question. -
What is God? (Jono Brown)
I chat over a coffee with Jono Brown and ask him the God Awful 'What is God?'
He offers some more helpful metaphors about how we can think about a concept that, by definition, our minds cannot contain. -
What is God? (Malcolm Gordon)
Malcolm Gordon responds to the God Awful 'What is God?'
He offers some helpful metaphors and reminds us that "questions are the friend of faith".
