Hist 493 Final: Mulan Maddie Mills-Craig

Many of you guys have heard of the 1998 Disney adaption of Mulan, but did you know where the inspiration for the story came from? Today, I will be talking about the original Ballad of Mulan from the 4th to 6th century China and how the Disney movie compares.

We will be looking at the different versions and the significance behind the differences in each version.
