The Immigrant Express podcast returns with a new host joining Jon - welcome Andreea!!! - and a guest that was an absolute pleasure and experience to talk to. We've tried to keep the long story as short as possible but Vera Popa is certainly someone that lived a lot in her past 10-12 years. She went from 0 to 100 and built a successful eye-lash extensions business and her clients vary from celebrities to royals. She's living her new life in London, UK and shared with us her story which is an impressive show of grit and ambition, proving us all that as long as you stay open to what life has ahead for you and you work toward your goals, there's always a small chance that you might achieve those goals.

Meet Nick B. one of the lads in the 2014 lot, arriving in Canada with Horea and I. Nick loves to travel, loves food, been living on 3 continents so far, maybe 4 if we count that time when he spent a few weeks in Australia, visiting family. He spent a few years in Canada, went back home to Romania but never unpacked truly as his travel bug kept him going. Then work and his adventurous spirit took him to Asia, to an office with a view toward Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur. 

He met his "partner in crime" there, married her and he's now living semi-permanently as an ex-pat in Malaysia. But the coolest thing about Nick is that probably his love for food and life might not have him settle there. Yet. He might not be done with the bug. We have no guest on this September 1st episode. It's just us, your humble hosts, Jon and Horea rambling around and perfecting the art of leaving from "nowhere", taking the "anywhere" highway and getting "somewhere" at exit 45. Kidding aside we wonder what else is in for us this last quarter of 2020 and how will some classic events here in Toronto will take place.
