Proclaiming Jesus Ebunoluwa Adedayo

In this episode, I pick up with the question that the previous episode ended with; how is Jesus the sum of God's mysterious plan? I talk about the Torah and use New Testament scriptures to reveal that Jesus had been spoken of from the beginning (in the Holy Scriptures; the Law and the Prophets). In light of this, I take us back to the beginning, where we start the journey to discover Jesus in the Law and the Prophets...and, eventually, God's mysterious plan.

In this first episode, we go back to the very beginning to find out who Jesus is using Bible passages. We discover, amongst many other truths, that He is as old as 'time', if not older. Knowing this truth is important in our understanding of who Jesus is and how He is God and the repetition of the statement that Jesus existed from the beginning relays that. There's more to Jesus than meets the eye and we are barely beginning...

Borne out of my many months of pondering what Paul means by this statement, "To Live is Christ", this little piece is a mesh up of my thoughts alongside insights from a devotional I studied. Everything I would be sharing in this series rests on this statement for it is the culmination as well as the beginning of God's plan in Jesus.
