    Goals in photography for 2024

    Goals in photography for 2024

Each year, I've been looking back at the prior year to decide what are some goals to work toward. Each time, it gets more realistic yet more in-line with my desires as an artist. I try to be specific with what I'm aiming for, but not so much that it becomes a kind of "assignment." I do this as opposed to a traditional resolution because resolutions lack specificity, which contributes to the common occurrence of resolutions being abandoned only a couple months into the year. I recommend every artist set goals for themselves, to make sure that you have things to strive for and keep in practice so you maintain your studio work, your field work, and your overall process and practice as a working artist.
