Jal hai to Jeevan hai - Ground Water depletion

Jal hai to Jeevan hai - Ground Water depletion

Friends Ground water is depleting at an alarming rate, earlier most of the drinkable water use to come from River / Streams or wells, today the time has come when not even the surface water is polluted but the ground water is at the verge of extinction.

We use to read in our childhood that few animals and species were classified in the verge of extinction but today same is the case with the Water, not even a decade back the ground water used to be found at 120 to 150 ft level which has now went down till 250 ft which is again at the brink of depletion, and if we sincerely ask the question that exactly who is responsible for this condition, unfortunately its essentially we humans are the real cause of effecting the mother nature and depleting its natural resources.

Its we who due to the reason of our domestic to industrial needs are expanding with such fast pace that somehow we are missing the adversary we are leaving behind, we are moving ahead in time but are really not concerned about the generation ahead in time. We are so globalized and developed yet we are so reserved to think just about ourself and ourself.

What happened in CapeTown in 2018 on Day Zero could reoccur in front of us until a strong step is taken by each of us, this is no more moral responsibility rather has became a socially fundamental duty towards our motherland, our nation, our society and generation ahead of us.

Lets PROMISE to ourself to save water in whatsoever means possible. Use cautiously, don't waste, don't contaminate, reuse - reduce - recycle.
    #save #water
