WTF Wednesday- Merrows: Mermaids of Ireland Lady Like

Despite what one might think, it is actually Merrows that are a pretty big deal in Ireland folklore, rather than the more obvious Leprechauns. So this week Amanda weaves us a fantasy tale of smokin hot green haired beauties.  She then immediately ruins it with facts like ugly red hats and sub-par man-maids. These sexy sirens travel onto land by magic, fall in love with their dream human, and make weird looking babies. Eventually their inner crazy comes out and apparently divorce is not an option so bye-bye dream human. No happily ever after for these Mermaids, sad face. That was a let down, but considering they’re not real anyway, Jessica will have to get over it. How sad are you that this week’s episode didn’t lead to fantasies about Aquaman?
