Welcome back folk to Dropping Bombs, I’m Brad Lea. Today, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Joe Malone, an ex-Marine and former substance abuser who turned his life around to become a motivational figure and trainer. Starting heavy substances
 as a teenager, Joe discusses his struggles with substance abuse, depression and dark thoughts. He admits he almost ended it all at one point but managed to make an incredible transformation. 
Joe's training programs now focus on self-defense, home safety, and the Bushido code. He shared stories of helping individuals, particularly women, regain confidence and security through his training. Joe emphasized the importance of home defense and the concept of the Fatal Funnel in protecting one’s home. Joe outlines steps to protect oneself and family: deter, detect, delay, and defend, and non-lethal defense tools.
