If you've ever seen the movie The Exorcist, then you know the terror that it instilled in the hearts of all those moviegoers in 1973, but did you know it was based on the Exorcism of a real boy. Roland Doe was a 14 year old boy living a normal life in Maryland with his family in 1949 when he was stricken with a full blown demonic possession. We're giving all the details of what led to the demonic possession, the exorcism from the detailed diary kept by one of the Catholic priests, and the supposed curse on the set of The Exorcist.

This haunted property was Stephen King's inspiration behind one of his most popular works, The Shining, which went on to become a wildly popular thriller.
