Welcome back to another episode of Christian Topics.

Deb and Alex share based on their experiences how they manage to thrive in their relationship. Relationships are a lot of hard work but the work is worth it if you are both leaning on God.

Abortion is thought of as a right in the majority of the western world. Million of abortions occur every year world wide. The Supreme Court has ruled Rode vs Wade as insufficient law and has thus been revoked from its association to the constitution. No longer a constitutional right in America abortion laws are now in the hands of the state legislatures. This is an opportunity for the red states to pull back the abortion laws that have killed more that 60 million babies before birth.

At Christian Topics we will discuss what this means for us as Christians. We understand that life is shared and is worth living no matter what. However, we understand that this is a sensitive subject, that it is not easy to have. We don't wish to alienate anyone or make them feel less than. We believe that all life is precious regardless of our beliefs and we respect that there are multiples aspects to the debate that need to be considered. That being said, our faith and our research makes us confident and sure in our stance.

We also must say that nothing is black and white but we are here to try are best to live by the Word of God.

The Bible makes it clear that we will be hated because of the world's hatred for Jesus(Matt 10:22) but we shouldn't be discouraged. We need to recognise that persecution is part of the life of the Christian, especially as we are reaching/in the last days.

Note: There's a difference between acceptance and tolerance...

At times Church can fall silent or retreat to a reserved state for the more 'uncomfortable topics' (particularly if you're in Europe) but we don't believe we should. Non-believers often think that we're hypocritical because we have our favourite sins to talk about and can get quiet with sins like gluttony and greed. Let's be authentic believers and break patterns of sin by getting into the Word.
