After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him. Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that. Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Is this podcast the best thing ever, or is it the SSRI
It’s 1:30am where I am in the world, and I can’t stop smiling—not sure if it’s the antidepressants hitting or how lovely you all are to listen to. P.S. Hope y’all visit the Philippines one day for the HBO show, maybe we can get to the bottom of this.
Conan’s eerily quiet about the genocide that’s happening
Weird but a little disappointing. His Palestine video was also privated. Anyway he’s just a comedian amirite
Humanizing a dictator’s wife and a murderer was not in my bingo card for the podcast this week :((
David seems lovely but the conversation genuinely felt like hearing people talk about how “quirky and eccentric” Stalin was. Completely disregarding that Imelda Marcos used taxpayer money to fund her and her family’s opulent lifestyle while thousands of Filipinos died of poverty or were murdered at their behest.
