Getting Better and Better
As someone who’s fascinated and angry at how cults were formed and operate, I like listening to this pod. There should be a separation of Religion and State, BUT I think, every single person is a liability of the state, and their safety and lives should be a major concern for the state. The States need to create laws that will prevent these abuses to members, parishioners, and belief defectors.
Update: They’re also talking about other religious groups and even corporate cults.
I like how much they care about the victims, because most media focuses on the organizations, and the victims are being shamed by the public. Being enticed into something is as simple as being enticed to buy a product. The psychological aspects of this are so deep and important.
