Great Content and Thankfully No Swearing
I came back to 40k after a 5 year hiatus at the end of 7th edition. I swear I only wanted to create a Blood Angel Lucifer Pattern formation and stop there. Famous last words.
As I was checking out the Blood Angels group page on the World’s Greatest Archive (i.e. Facebook), someone asked if there was a Blood Angel-centric podcast out there. Someone replied to check out Forge the Narrative as they talk about Blood Angels every now and then. So I decided to piggy back on that inquiry and check it out.
This was 2 years ago and I have yet to find an episode I have not liked. The tactics are great for a casual-competitive player. The finishing moves also inspire me to try out new ways to paint my minis. The 10-15 minutes hobby time here and there advice really helped.
Although sometimes I find them the episodes too short. I even wonder sometimes why Paul suddenly cuts off his friends when you can clearly hear they’re enthusiasm on a certain topic. But I finally got it last episode when Paul mentioned he likes to keep his podcasts brief. As a fellow married man I understand.
The other plus to this podcast is there is no swearing. I’ve tried some other 40k podcasts and that will always be the deciding factor, for me, when to tap the subscribed button. And although it cant be helped sometimes, I still like how the beep is edited well into the show when the feels get too much.
Thank You so much for the time you take to make this podcast. I appreciate the passion you put in for the hobby and all the content you give. Keep up the good work. God Bless You All.
