    In this first podcast you will hear a story about a common problem in metro tunnels:  the problem of water ingress to the track infrastructure. For many metro operators the challenge is to keep a very old network alive. They are looking for a suitable solution for the refurbishment of worn-out bi-block slab track systems with a need to realize the replacement during very short possession times.



    Let me introduce you to the main character of our story: Tim.

    Tim is Chief Inspection Engineer and today he is on his monthly inspection tour in a metro tunnel in his hometown. He is responsible for inspecting the track infrastructure to ensure safety and operational capability. His company unit conducts frequently inspections of tracks as well as stations and line structures.
