    • Society & Culture

Great news for Mental Health Awareness Month! Consequence Podcast Network and Sound Mind Live are thrilled to bring back Going There with Dr. Mike for a brand new season. This insightful podcast continues its mission to bridge the gap between music and mental health, featuring in-depth conversations about mental health journeys with your favorite artists.
Going There with Dr. Mike tackles mental health stigmas head-on. Hosted by Dr. Mike Friedman, a licensed clinical psychologist, the show features candid conversations with a star-studded lineup of musicians including Jason Isbell, Gerard Way, Jewel, and many more. Across three seasons, these artists have bravely opened up about their mental health journeys, fostering a sense of connection and hope for listeners on their own path to wellness.
For Season 5, we're shifting to a weekly release schedule, meaning Dr. Mike and his guests will be with listeners for even more of the year. The new season of Going There kicks off May 7th, with early guests including Yungblud, JXDN, Marcus King, Lumineers’ Jeremiah Fraites and more. Stay tuned as more guests are announced for upcoming episodes, and make sure to subscribe to Going There with Dr. Mike wherever you get your podcasts to stay up-to-date on all the latest conversations.
Going There's return perfectly coincides with Sound Mind Live's 6th Annual Music Festival for Mental Health.
