How many sheep in the church today have corrupt shepherds misled through oppression and neglect?
Ezekiel 34 condemns the wicked shepherds of Israel who abused their sacred calling to guide God's people, leaving the flock oppressed and defenseless. The Lord Himself intervened as the Good Shepherd incarnate.
Seeing the multitudes harassed like sheep without a shepherd, Christ Jesus lovingly laid down His life for His beloved flock. Though He appoints under-shepherds, they are flawed compared to the Perfect Shepherd, even as they pursue and grow in holiness.
In our time, many false and flawed shepherds appear. But don't despair!!
You can discern Truth by knowing Jesus intimately - study His teachings, rely on his righteousness, abide in His love.
Christ alone is the true Shepherd worthy of your trust.
