2017 2nd Overall Pick

First, Thanks for this Podcast! Great station for all the News, Rumors and events for a true Lakers Fan.

2nd, Regarding on who Lakers would pick in this upcoming draft. In my owm opinion, the team should select DeAaron Fox over Lonzo Ball. Both prospect is a good point guard that can fit right away if D'Lo moves to shooting guard. Both prospect has also blinding speed, but Fox has a quicker 1st step than Lonzo. Lonzo has an unlimited shooting range compared to Fox but shooting can be corrected as the player matures and adapt the rigors of being a professional basketball player also a good shooting percentage in college would always not carry over in the NBA. Fox is a much better scorer than Ball. Lonzo makes a team better with his court vision as they say, but Fox is also an able playmaker and with the guidance of Magic, Fox can learn so much from him on how to run a team. But the biggest reason for me why the Lakers should draft Fox is because of his defense. Fox is tireless on the defensive end, he usually go to his "one man press" picking up the guard and creating steals for easy buckets. He is also a good compliment to D'Lo on the defensive end as D'Lo lacks lateral quickness to stay on his man. D'Lo and Ball on the backcourt will be a real nightmare to the Lakers during defense as the NBA now is adapting the small ball where quicker guards are premium both on offense and specially on defense. Fox on the other end will balance what D'Lo lacks on the defensive end. Plus Fox can really match up to the elite PG's with his speed and lateral quickness. This is my opinion on why the Lakers should draft Fox over Ball.
