After nearly a decade in the WA and CA Wine Industry, Marilee Bramhall decided to embark upon an exploration of old-world wines. Nearly another 10 years have passed since beginning this chapter of her career in wine which have included countless hours of study, travel and opening a business. Marilee Bramhall has completed the required coursework for French Wine Scholar and Italian Wine Scholar as well as passing the required certification exam for each specialty with Highest Honors. She has completed the examination for WSET L2 with Distinction and is an Approved Instructor for the Wine Scholar Guild (www.winescholarguild.org). In addition, Marilee has completed two programs with the Bureau Interprofessionel des Vins De Bourgogne in Beaune, Burgundy, France: a Masterclass for Wine Educators and a Five-Day Bourgogne Wines Intensive Masterclass.Marilee imports wines to the US that are women-created and sustainable - and she sounds like a poet when she talks about them.
